Divorce is up there with the most complex and challenging ordeals we can go through in life. Attorneys themselves most often hire other attorneys to handle their divorce proceedings. Emotions are high and the concerns regarding custody matters and the division of assets can be overwhelming. You can trust me to handle everything in a professional, steady, and firm manner.
Managing physical and legal custody issues can often be difficult, especially if there are any particularized issues such as multiple children involved or parenting concerns. With mediation training and experience, I have become successful in resolving these matters prior to expensive and often damaging litigation.
Most often it is in all parties' best interests to engage in meaningful and thoughtful conversation prior to expensive litigation. Divorce can be a stressful time of division and separation, but with the proper guidance it can be done with well-drafted agreements which I've spent a long time developing.
Establishing and preserving the rights of both fathers and mothers can be a complex area with numerous factors involved. Parents have a constitutional right to raise their children as they see fit, and co-parenting can often lead to difficult decisions. I understand what the courts find important and often settle these matters prior to trial.
Since living in Maui, my practice has primarily focused on family law. In the aftermath of the tragic Lāhainā and Kula fires, I knew I could make a greater impact within the community if I focused my efforts on helping those affected by the fires. To most effectively help my clients, friends and neighbors, I knew I needed to partner with a firm that had the knowledge, experience and resources to hold those responsible accountable.
I have associated with Attorney Ryan Lamb, who has years of wildfire recovery experience since his hometown of Paradise, California was destroyed in the 2018 Camp Fire. I am convinced that Ryan and his colleagues from Northern California have the resources and skills to help us through this process and rebuild Lāhainā.
We are dedicated to holding those responsible accountable and will fight for your rights anyway we can.
We are offering a reduced contingency fee of 15% for those on the island that have been affected by the fires.
